Gemma Christie was educated at Teddington School 1984-1989 and studied film, drama, theatre studies & theatre design at West Thames College, Isleworth 1989-1991 and painting, printmaking and 16mm film at Canterbury College of Art 1991-1993. Her creative works are inspired by nature and her surroundings and exploring the richness of colours, textures and tones using a variety of medium. While she had a long and successful career in television graphics, she found time to exhibit her oil paintings, prints and undertook commissions. She now freelances in digital media utilising her multiple creative skills. Gemma came from the Richmond area and moved to Suffolk where she has taken to using watercolour and enjoys the complexities and challenges of this medium. Gemma has exhibited locally with Dennington Arts, Framlingham Art Society and elsewhere.
