SHERIDAN, Frank
Frank Sheridan/Schneider was born at 16 Willow Road, Hampstead, London on 30 June 1920, second son of Harry Schneider (9 March 1887-), a piano action finisher who was born at Kyiv, Ukraine, and his wife Annie Rebecca née Jacobs (18 December 1890-23 February 1981), who was born in Poland and married at Marylebone, London in 1914. In 1921 Frank Schneider was living at 16 Willow Road, Hampstead with his parents Frank and Annie Schneider and his 4-year-old sibling brother Abraham. Sometime after 1921 the family changed their name from Schneider to Sheridan and in 1939 Harry Schneider/Sinclair, his wife and five children were living at 118 Hamilton Road, Golders Green, when Frank was a 19 year old unmarried pharmaceutical student. Frank lived at 1 Hasketon Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk from where he exhibited his paintings. Frank Sheridan died on 12 July 2008.
