GREEN, Brenda
Brenda Mary Green was a primary school teacher for twenty-four years also a potter before being taught coloured pencil techniques at Dedham Hall Art Classes, at Brook Street, Dedham, Colchester, close to where Brenda lives, run by Ann Swan, an established Botanic Artist, which opened a new window to Brenda’s life. Brenda has been a Fellow Member of the Society of Botanical Artists for several years, exhibiting at their annual Exhibitions at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster and later at the Mall Galleries in London. She works on HP (hot press) 300gms (140 lb) Fabriano or Rising Stonehenge paper, using mainly Faber Castell polychromos and prismacolor pencils. Brenda who is a member of the Ipswich Arts Association also exhibits at various venues locally, art societies, agricultural shows, and fund-raising events.
