DOBSON, David K
David Kenneth Dobson was born on 6 January 1927, son of Frank Edward James Dobson (28 February 1893-5 March 1956), a schoolmaster, and his wife Eva Rose née Groves (25 April 1897-1981), who married at Hartley Wintney, Hampshire in 1919. David K Dobson, a lecturer, married at Bromley, Kent in 1956 Una Grace née Rowe (26 April 1930-24 May 2012) and they had a daughter Sarah Grace, born on 18 June 1957. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from The Cottage, Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk in 1958 a wood sculpture and in 1960 he, his wife and daughter were living at Tudor Cottage, Wyalls Lane, Little Cornard, Sudbury, Suffolk when they emigrated to Ghana in Africa. David Kenneth Dobson died at Newport, Monmouthshire in 1988.
