SUMMERSON, Tim
Timothy J Summerson was born in Hammersmith, London in 1946, son of Sir John Newenham Summerson (25 November 1904-10 November 1992), an architectural historian, and his wife Elizabeth Alison née Hepworth (2 September 1910-15 September 1991), a sister of sculptor Dame Barbara Hepworth (10 January 1903–20 May 1975), who married at Hampstead, London in March 1938, they had triplet sons Charles, Edward J. and Timothy. Tim studied at Norwich University of the Arts and married at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in 1991 Collette née Hammell. A painter of landscapes, still life, and portraits and a member of the Harleston and Waveney Art Trail from his studio at Hill Farm Barn, Flixton, Bungay, Suffolk.
