Kate Ackerley graduated B.A. (hons) Drama and French from Bristol and Sorbonne, Paris; postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) with specialism in arts and creative language from Cambridge; Common Professional Examination/Postgraduate Diploma in Law and a Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. Living in Suffolk is a creative and integrative artist and therapist, working primarily in oils and pastels, and a leader and facilitator of workshops and courses entitled The Creative and Silent Self series. She uses creative exercises, including drawing, pastels, paint, clay work, collage etc, creative writing of poetry and prose, journaling, visualisation, and meditation.
