MOULTON, Carolyn
As Carolyn Ann Enkel, she was born in January 1953. Carolyn was a Psychology teacher, but art has been her lifelong companion and compulsion. She married at Epping, Essex in 1972 Geoffrey John Moulton and paints as Carolyn Moulton and lives in East Anglia with the light, the big skies, and open spaces. She studied on Nicholas Wilton's Creative Visionary Programme 'Art2Life' and the Porthmeor Programme at St Ives School of Painting, meeting gifted tutors and artists. The natural world and the effects of light are her initial sources of inspiration, and her work develops through various stages of this inspiration. Carolyn works in mixed media, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and ink and uses her own collage papers with mono and Gelli plate printing. A member of the Harleston and Waveney Art Trail and Waveney Springs Art Collective from Old Rectory, Rectory Road, Topcroft, Bungay, Suffolk, Topcroft is in Norfolk.
