COCKERILL, Patricia

As Patricia Weber, she was born at Newmarket, Suffolk in 1966, daughter of Anthony Charles Weber (1944-28 July 2002) and his Irish born wife Peggy M. née Nealis (born 1944), who married at Hendon, Middlesex in 1965. Patricia was educated at Cedars Upper School, Leighton Buzzard and studied at Dunstable College 1983-1984 and had a career in retail and in management and was team secretary to Ipswich Hospital Trust 2001-2009. She married at Bedford in 2004, Kevin Cockerill and paints as Patricia Cockerill. An artist and muralist specialising in the medium of oil paint. She has painted both interior and exterior across a broad range of venues in Suffolk, from Ipswich Hospital in the Neo Natal unit with the flower fairies, to a Coffee Shop in Woodbridge, East Anglian Children’s Hospice, a Church, and Level Two Youth Club in Felixstowe. She also paints garden murals including a sky inside the roof of a gazebo. Her mother Peggy, with Patricia, was the author of 'My Magic Lights' (2015).
