Gemma M. Bell is an acrylic artist from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Living in the countryside and close to the coast, both features heavily in her work, whether it’s the scene itself or the wildlife within it. Her work is colourful and bold, and she is always looking at colours and patterns within day-to-day life which feeds into her paintings. Gemma creates vibrant, eye-catching contemporary art including cards, paper paintings, canvas paintings and more recently hand painted pots. In recent work she has explored a variety of subjects such as birds, flowers and houseplants but most of her themes are still landscape based, exploring the coastal work and the countryside.
