PETERS, Lyn
As Lyn Humphries she was born in May 1963. Lyn married at Winchester in 1995, a New Zealander, Warren Austin Peters and paints as Lyn Peters. A mostly self-taught artist only having started painting in 2019 but has now found her own style, which is contemporary landscapes and portraits that she etches whilst the paint is still wet. Working in acrylic on canvas or artboard, her work has sold locally in Woodbridge; Carousel Gallery, Framlingham; MF Gallery and Framing Ipswich as well as at Brick Lane Gallery, London; Affordable Art Fair, Battersea; VK Gallery, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and her portrait 'Ned', was accepted and sold at the 2021 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and her 'Laura's House', a small mixed media landscape has been shortlisted for the 2023 exhibition. A member of Suffolk Open Studios from Seckford Street, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
