PECK, Lisa Rae

As Lisa Rae Mealey, she was born in London on 8 June 1966 and married at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk in 1985, Colin Michael Peck (December 1963-) and paints under the name of Lisa Rae Peck or Lisa Rae. She moved next to the River Ouse in Cambridgeshire before moving to rural Suffolk. A move from the hard landscapes of the city into the countryside played a large part in her love of nature. Living in rural Suffolk, her paintings are invocative of her surrounding environment with its constant source of inspiration, colour, mood, and light, with the ever-changing landscapes and seasons. Lisa is a contemporary artist, using acrylics. She likes to work quickly and capture the moment, light and mood of the landscape. A former member of Suffolk Open Studios from Troston, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk.
