Chris Doddridge

Christopher William Courtenay Doddridge was born at Norton, near Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk on 6 September 1946, only child of Reginald Wilfred Doddridge (15 April 1921-24 May 2011) and his wife Olive May née Bennett (22 May 1921-October 1993), who married at St Jude's Plymouth, Devon on 9 February 1946. Chris studied at Ipswich, Plymouth and at the University of Exeter and was influenced by the works of Alexander Mackenzie (1923–2002) and Karl Weschke (1925–2005) both of the St Ives school. He married at Plymouth in 1975, Anne E. Taylor and lived near Halesworth in Suffolk.
