Alice Ridley studied at Nottingham Trent University as a theatre designer and progressed to be an art director both on her own films and for television. Alice then took up painting and studied at London Fine Art Studios and has now moved from London to Suffolk building a studio at her home. Alice's loose, yet tightly detailed style captures flowers at their best and her Flowers Collection are her most sort after work, even the smallest paintings come alive with her use of brushstroke. She manages to concentrate and depict the beauty of the texture, colour, and delicacy of her subject. Alice has exhibited at Artspace Woodbridge and is a member of Suffolk Open Studios from 44 Brook Street, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
