KING, Edna Joyce
As Edna Joyce Ranson, she was born at Ipswich on 1 December 1921, daughter of Percy Edward Ranson (13 April 1896-12 February 1977), an engineer fitter, and his wife Lillian Elsie née Rogers (1 July 1898-10 May 1977), who married at Ipswich in 1921. In 1939 Edna was living at 62 Schreiber Road, Ipswich with her parents and married at Ipswich in 1948 Eric Ronald Anthony Jay (23 February 1922-13 October 1967). She married secondly at Ipswich in 1970, Cyril Marcus King and they moved to Lowestoft where she painted as Edna King. As Edna J. King, an artist who lived at 4 Saffron Square, Pakefield, Lowestoft, Suffolk. Edna Joyce King died at Pakefield on 27 January 2005.
