​Lilac Cottage Studio was a peaceful haven in the village of Rickinghall in Suffolk and run by Sue Ecclestone and a team of tutors. They offered a range of art classes for all abilities in a purpose equipped building located in the garden of the country cottage. All the tutors were professional artists with experience of teaching, each had their own exceptional skills and genre to share with the guests. ​Sue Ecclestone is a curator and art historian who has worked with over fifty artists from all over the world. She has worked mostly in London but has now returned to her native county of Suffolk. Lilac Cottage was home to the studio where you could participate in art lessons taught by some of the best artists which Sue has had the opportunity to work alongside. These well-respected artists in their given field were ready to pass on their knowledge and skill to keen artists, beginner or an expert. ​Lilac Cottage Studio closed in 2023.
