Ryan Christopher Courtier was born in Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk in 1994, son of Neil Courtier and his wife Gillian R. White, who married in Surrey in 1989. Ryan is a botanical collage artist and abstract painter working just outside of Bury St Edmunds, specialising in botanical and conceptual collage and abstract painting driven by his love for nature. Ryan encourages the viewer to listen to the colours in his collages and paintings. A former member of the Suffolk Open Studios from The Studio, Flint Cottage, High Rougham, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and he also works on commissions. In 2021 he moved to Brighton, East Sussex.
