Asher Lauren Oxborrow was born in Ipswich in 2003, daughter of Stuart Ian Oxborrow and his wife Susan Ann née Hawes. Asher studied at One Sixth Form College in Ipswich and exhibited her work at The Royal Society of British Artists, Star Students exhibition at the Mall Gallery in London. Asher is currently focused on contemporary portraiture and in the initial stages of discovering her love for art and ‘Joshua’ is a portrait of her brother who was the first person that she reached out to when needing a suitable subject to create a large-scale oil painting. Her painting 'Naomi' was exhibited at the Ipswich Art Society as 'star student' for the Anna Airy award for 2021.
