MUSSETT, Tessa

As Teresa Marguerite Venables Lomas, she was born at Newton Abbot, Devon in 1955, daughter of Robert Michael Venables Lomas (9 May 1927-16 March 1973) and his wife Lois E. née Thomas, who married at Newton Abbot in 1953. Tessa married at Battle, Sussex in 1976, Paul Geoffrey Arthur Mussett and works as Tessa Mussett. She owes her knowledge of anything connected to artists, history of art and the theatre to her mother’s enthusiasm. Tessa studied Fine Art at Cheltenham and at Canterbury College of Art. An artist in charcoal and in particular chalk/pastel Conte ‘A’ Paris sticks. Her main subject matter is Suffolk buildings and landscape. A member of Peninsula Crafts and Ipswich Art Society from 1 Alton Hall Lane, Stutton, Ipswich, Suffolk
