HAYWARD, Maggi
Maggi Hayward studied under Colin Moss at Ipswich School of Art 1966-1968, then at Croydon College of Art & Design until 1971, becoming a Member of the Chartered Society of Designers. Maggi has worked as a designer of textiles, graphics, and museum exhibitions and after many years designing with the aid of computers she is now enjoying the manual process of printmaking. She looks for the textures and patterns in Natural History collections, plants and landscapes and is inspired by the simplicity and economy of mid 20th century artists and designers. A member of the Ipswich Art Society.
