Hilary McPherson originally studied textile design at Croydon College of Art & Design. She now paints in oils, acrylic, watercolour, and pastels, as well as enjoying the immediacy of monotypes. The natural world, landscape, natural objects and still life are favoured subjects. Hilary grows organic flowers on a local Suffolk Community Farm which is a vibrant source of inspiration. She is a member of Ipswich Art Society from Turret Lane, Ipswich.
