Kate Perkins had no formal art training although she often produced posters and small watercolours. After her retirement, Kate took to patchwork and volunteered to help the technicians at Gainsborough's House Print Workshop where she learned techniques but did not value editioned prints, so Kate's works are all mono-types relief and lino generally. A former member of Suffolk Open Studios from her studio at 57 Friars Street, Sudbury, Suffolk also a member and exhibitor with Sudbury Art Collective.
