KEARSLEY, Diana
As Diana Andrews, she was born at St Albans, Hertfordshire in November 1939, daughter of Jack Andrews and his wife Alice née Ryder, who married at St Albans in 1936. Diana studied at St Albans School of Art and followed a career in graphic design developing an interest in typestyles, layout and print and now gets enjoyment of colour and creating images. She married at Dacorum, Hertfordshire in 1990, Harold Kearsley and works under the name of Diana Kearsley. Diana is an artist in oil, watercolour, and acrylic leaning towards a loser style, bridging the gap between representation and abstract and a degree of strong colour. A full member of Suffolk Open Studios from a studio at Wingfield Barns, Church Road, Wingfield, Suffolk, and lives at Mill Street, Gislingham, Eye, Suffolk.
