HAZELL, Frederick James
Frederick James Hazell was born at 26 Vernon Street, Ipswich on 30 June 1909, second child of Joseph Stanley Hazell (1871-1925), a hairdresser, and his wife Laura Ann née Dummer (1877-1951), who married at Southwark, London in 1906. In 1911, Frederick was a one-year-old, living at 26 Vernon Street, Ipswich with his parents, 40-year-old Joseph and 33-year-old Laura, both born in London, with a sibling brother Joseph William 3, born at Ipswich, his parents had three further daughters. Frederick married at Ipswich in 1931, Gertrude Ella Earrey (22 April 1906-1981). Frederick exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club from 68 Woodbridge Road, Ipswich in 1937, a watercolour 'Quai de Rosaire'. In 1939, a gentleman's master hairdresser, living at 68 Woodbridge Road, Ipswich with his wife Gertrude and two children. Frederick James Hazell died at Ipswich in 1990.
