PITMAN, Sybil
As Sybil Louise Foster, she was born at Totnes, Devon on 26 March 1892. In 1921 a draper's shop assistant boarding at 193 Villa Street, Aston, Birmingham, which was a boarding house, but was of 21 High Street, Barnstaple, Devon when she married at Chelmsford, Essex in 1933, Maurice Rogers Pitman (28 May 1890-23 September 1960), who was of St Brannocks, Brompton, North Devon. Sybil exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club in 1935 from Sudbourne, Orford, Suffolk, two watercolours 'A Scottish Loch' and 'Loch Moidart'. In 1939, she was living at Windy Brow, Sudbourne, Suffolk with her husband Maurice. Sybil Louise Pitman died at Sudbourne in 1958.
