HAWARD, Margaret Ethel
Margaret Ethel Haward was born at Ipswich on 23 December 1911, eldest of the two children of Robert Haward (17 December 1877-27 February 1954), an engineer's clerk, and his wife Ethel Maud Nobbs (3 March 1881-8 March 1971), eldest daughter of Revd Robert Nobbs, who married at Crown Street Congregational Church, Ipswich on 14 August 1907. Margaret exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club from 23 Gainsborough Road, Ipswich in 1933 two works, 'Dock Scene' and 'The Park'. In 1939, a teacher, boarding at The Fox (public house), Layer de la Haye, Essex when her parents were still living at 23 Gainsborough Road, Ipswich. Margaret Ethel Haward died at 75 Mount Drive, Marple, Stockport, Cheshire on 23 April 1994, she was unmarried.
