Richard Nichols

Richard W. Nichols, was born in Ipswich in 1945, second son of Frederick C. Nichols and his wife Evaline née Gummerson, who married in Ipswich in 1935. Richard started drawing and painting as a child and has always had a great love of all things natural and he exhibited at the Gainsborough’s House during his Sudbury schooldays. After a career in publishing, marketing and design, he returned to fine art holding his first solo exhibition in October 1995. Richard then proceeded to add tuition with his 'Around Britain Watercolour Collection' project. He also conducts art days and holidays for beginners and all abilities with personal guidance to develop individual styles from Crownfield House, Low Road, Great Glemham, Suffolk.
