Freda Pattern studied Drama, English and Art/Design and went on to teach and study for a Masters in Arts Practice, with a focus on painting, at Suffolk University in Ipswich. An artist, living and working in Suffolk with her inspiration coming from several sources including her family, the Suffolk and Norfolk landscape or the paintings of Frenchman Henri Matisse (1869-1954) and Englishman Patrick Heron (1920-1999). Freda works with colour and the abstract experimenting with watercolour and mixed media Together with her mother Sue Green, exhibited at 'Art on the Prom' at Felixstowe and at Woodbridge Art Club, Waterfront Gallery, Ipswich, Gallery 74, Woodbridge, The Edmund Gallery, Bury St Edmund's and several other Suffolk Galleries and Art Clubs. Freda also takes private commissions.
