NEALE, Leonard Albert
Leonard Albert Neale was born at 33 Eastward Ho, Leiston, Suffolk on 25 September 1919, son of George Walter Neale (13 September 1880-10 January 1952), an engineer's pattern maker, later an insurance agent, and his wife Ida Bell née Prior (27 August 1881-1940), who married at Blything, Suffolk in 1904 and Leonard was a brother to William George Walter Neale. In 1939, the family were living at 33 Eastwood House, Leiston, Suffolk. Leonard exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club in 1942, two paintings 'The Flooded Marsh at Eastbridge' and 'A Wood in Early June'. An outfitter's assistant, he married at Leiston, Suffolk in 1946, Muriel Wagstaff (-17 November 2015). Leonard Albert Neale died in the Deben district of Suffolk on 16 April 1997.
