BERRY, Philip Thomas
Philip Thomas Berry was born at Tendring, Essex on 7 January 1928, son of Herbert Edgar Berry (13 October 1887-1975), a postman, and his wife Evelyn Selina née Smith (7 July 1894-1982), who married at Pelden, Essex on 3 June 1920. In 1939 Philip was 'at school' living at 1 Mill Road, Colchester, Essex with his parents and sibling John Leslie (7 April 1922-1971) and John Leslie's future wife, Betty Hammond (9 April 1921-). Philip married at Colchester in 1950 Sheila Winifred Estcourt (1930-2021). He exhibited at the 'Visions of Sudbury' show in 2007, two works 'Ballingdon' and 'Catholic Church'. Philip Thomas Berry died at Sudbury on 9 November 2012.
