INDER, Frederick Leighton
Frederick Leighton Inder was born at Emanuel Cottage, Longfellow Road, Cheam, Surrey, on 20 June 1905, son of Frederick Inder (2 October 1872-2 October 1961), a solicitor's clerk, and his wife Ruth née Upfield (29 June 1874-1957) who married at Harton, Surrey on 7 June 1897. In 1911, Frederick was a 5-year-old, still living at Cheam, with his parents 38-year-old Frederick and 36-year-old Ruth, with siblings Vera Ruth 12, Una Muriel 8 and newly born Miriam Elizabeth, all born at Cheam but by 1921 they were living at 177 Whalley Range, Blackburn, Lancashire when his father was working for a firm of Blackburn solicitors. In 1939, young Frederick was a 'commercial artist' living at 85 Woodbridge Road East, Ipswich with his parents but the family later moved to Colchester, Essex. Frederick Leighton Inder died at 25 Beaconsfield Avenue, Colchester on 27 November 1983, he was unmarried.
