WATLING, Joyce
Joyce Ethel May Watling was born in the Samford district of Suffolk on 7 August 1920, daughter of Bertram Harry Robert Watling (23 April 1894-1982), an engineer's pattern maker, and his wife Ada Mary née Burgess (11 October 1893-1974), who married at Ipswich in 1918. In 1939, Joyce was a commercial artist, living at 12 Packard Avenue, Ipswich with her father. She married at Ipswich in 1941, Raymond Smith. Joyce Ethel May Smith died on 19 February 2008.
