LANE, Beryl Margaret
As Beryl Margaret Gowers, she was born at Woodbridge, Suffolk on 16 July 1927, daughter of Cyril Gowers, a bank cashier, and his wife Hilda Victoria née Jackaman (20 April 1898-26 July 1970) and granddaughter of Arthur Gowers. Beryl was taught painting by her father and in 1939 she was living at 6 Victora Road, Woodbridge with her parents. Beryl married at Woodbridge in 1951, Donald Lane and painted under the name Beryl Lane. Beryl Margaret Lane died at 6 Keats Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire on 29 May 1987.
