WRIGHT, Thomas
Thomas Wright was baptised at St James's Church, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk on 17 April 1785, son of William Wright and his wife Elizabeth. Thomas married at Bury St Edmund's in 1829, Elinor Sophia Aickin (1798-1843) and in 1851, a 68-year-old widower, an artist and teacher in drawing, living at 90 Northgate Street, Bury St Edmund's with an unmarried daughter, 15-year-old Sarah Elinor, who was born at Bury St Edmund's. Thomas Wright, 'for many years a drawing master in Bury St Edmund's', died at Bury St Edmund's on 5 March 1858, aged 75.
