BARLOW, Misses
The Misses Barlow of Burgh Rectory, Suffolk were art pupils of Henry Bright sometime during his London period 1836-1856. Daughters of Revd George Francis Barlow (1768-24 March 1850), vicar of Edwardstone from 17 October 1800, rector of Sotterley from 7 February 1805, and of Burgh from 27 August 1814, all in Suffolk, and his wife Harriet née Mount (16 February 1780-23 September 1849), who married at Lower Tooting, Surrey on 21 May 1798 and they had ten children including five daughters. The Misses Barlow would have been some of those listed but probably Louisa and Juliana.
1] Harriet, born 3 November 1800. Married at Burgh 25 June 1835, Charles Francis Robinson and died 12 June 1852, without issue.
2] Caroline, born 19 March 1802 died in infancy
3] Louisa, born at Sotterley on 21 August 1809. Married at Burgh on 19 January 1836, Revd James Thomas Round (1798-1860) of Colchester. She died at Colchester 21 May 1877 and had issue.
4] Juliana, born at Burgh on 27 February 1813. Married at Burgh on 20 August 1840, Francis Barlow Robinson (1796-1878). She died at Balcombe on 30 January 1873, without issue.
5] Eleanor, born at Burgh on 29 March 1820. Married at Burgh on 27 May 1851, Revd John Montagu Randall (1819-1895). She died at Worthing, Sussex on 15 December 1893, and had at least one daughter, Juliana Harriet Randall, her executrix.
