LUCAS, Marian Seymour
As Marian Woods, she was born on 1 October 1905. She married at Battersea, London in 1933, as his second wife, Sydney Charles Seymour Lucas. In 1939, she was living at Westwood Lodge, Blythburgh, Suffolk with her husband and as Mrs Seymour Lucas, exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club in 1941 two works 'Pansies' and 'Polyanthus', in 1942 'Floral Harmony' and 'Chrysanthemums', in 1943 two oils 'Hollyhocks' and 'Still Life' and in 1944 two oils 'Golden Glory' and 'Asters' and as Marianne Seymour-Lucas she also exhibited at the Royal Academy. Marian Seymour Lucas died at Cleveland Cottage, Walberswick, Suffolk on 7 February 1969, aged 68[sic].
