HEYCOCK, Betty
Elizabeth Maude Heycock was born at Bengal, India on 25 October 1914, daughter of William Bissill Heycock (23 April 1873-20 April 1941), of the India Civil Service, and his wife Maude Benedicta née Whistler (23 February 1891-4 June 1965), eldest daughter of Revd Alfred James Whistler of Warkton Rectory, who married at St Edmund's Church, Warkton, Kettering, Northamptonshire on 23 October 1913. In 1939, Elizabeth was living at 'Coley', Marks Tey, Colchester, Essex with her parents and sibling Catherine N. (born 12 January 1920). As Betty Heycock, she exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club in 1941 'Drawing from the Nude'. Elizabeth married at Colchester, Essex in 1959, Kenneth George Wade (22 May 1920-1997) and Elizabeth Maude Wade died at Marks Tey, Essex in 2006.
