FAIERS, Ann
As Ann L. Coote, she was born at 243 Langer Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk in 1944, daughter of George Coote (28 July 1903-1970), a builder's labourer, and his wife Lilian Maud née Stollery (9 February 1906-1990), who married in the Woodbridge district in 1929. Ann married at Felixstowe, Suffolk in 1966, Roger Faiers and paints under the name of Ann Faiers. Ann has been painting for several years and is a member of the Society for All Artists SAA since its beginning and was also a member of the local Martlesham Art Group. Ann painted flowers before trying her hand at local scenery and landscapes. To mark the centenary of seaplane development and testing in her hometown of Felixstowe, she commenced the painting of aircraft from old photographs for the 'Wings over the Waves' event in 2013, which were exhibited with the Felixstowe Art Group. She has her studio at 1 Rosemary Avenue, Felixstowe, Suffolk.
