As Pamela A. Squirrell, she was born at Sudbury, Suffolk in 1948, daughter of Charles Ambrose Squirrell (15 May 1920-7 July 2000), a corn merchant, and his wife Minnie May née Branwhite (11 March 1919-), who married at Sudbury in 1942. Pam married at Sudbury in 1974, Roger K. Balls, and paints under the name of Pam Balls. A member and exhibitor at Sudbury Creatives from 19 Daking Avenue, Sudbury, Suffolk and exhibited at the 'Visions of Sudbury' show at St Peter's church, Sudbury in 2007 'St Peter's church at Christmas'.
