ARNOLD, Charles William
Charles William Arnold was born at Shifnall, Shropshire on 8 April 1922, son of Gerald Henry Arnold (6 February 1900-1986), a farm worker, and his wife Jane née Pascall (19 October 1900-1989), who married at Newport, Shropshire in 1920. Charles married at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk in 1942, Peggy Webb (19 August 1924-1998). An amateur artist who is known to have painted two pictures of Woolpit, near Bury St Edmund's. Charles William Arnold died at Bury St Edmund's in 1998, the same year as his wife.
