LEES, Sue
Susan Lees drew and painted as a child, teaching herself how to draw horses, her obsession for many years. Sue has an art 'A' level and, as an adult, studied under artist Peter Evans (born 1943) and has since learnt from the painters around her, available teaching aids and the occasional painting course and class. A member of the Highgate Watercolour Group, the Islington Art Society, and the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists, and exhibited from 15 Station Hill, Bures, Suffolk at 'Visions of Sudbury' show at St Peter's church, Sudbury in 2009 two works, a watercolour 'House by the Bridge, Ballingdon' and an ink & watercolour crayon 'Swans near Brundon' and in 2013 a pen & watercolour 'Goose Walk, near Loshes Meadow'.
