Adrian Philip Rumbles was born at Kings Lynn, Norfolk in 1962, son of Philip George Rumbles (1940-31 May 2010) and his wife Heather F. L. née Lane (born 1935), who married at Kings Lynn in 1959. Adrian was educated at King Edward VI Grammer School, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk. A professional landscape and semi-abstract painter using mixed media and oils and executes commissions, also runs workshops and personal tuition. A member of Suffolk Open Studios from Studio X, The Grange, Long Thurlow, Bury St Edmund's, where he also has his sculptures on display, he also shows at Thurlow Gallery, Bury St Edmund's. He exhibited from 36 St Andrews Street, Bury St Edmund’s at Bury St Edmund's Church Walks in 2012, when sixty highly regarded professional artists as well as local artists and students generously donated their work and supported by the School of Art, West Suffolk College with all the proceeds going to St Nicholas Hospice Care.
