COLTHORPE, Doreen Olive
As Doreen Olive Moss, she was born in the Bosmere district of Suffolk on 18 November 1914, daughter of Frederick Charles David Moss (29 September 1883-1962) and his wife Gertrude Keziah née Lay (30 August 1884-17 March 1967), who married at Bosmere in 1908 and in 1939 were living at 2 Gipping Cottages, Sproughton Road, Bramford, Ipswich. Doreen married in the Gipping district of Suffolk in 1939, Arthur Sidney James Colthorpe (14 May 1917-1985). Her husband kept a china & glass shop at 50-52 St Helen's Street, Ipswich before moving to Langer Road, Felixstowe where he kept a fried fish shop. An amateur artist who painted from 25 Princes Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk. Doreen Olive Colthorpe died at Ipswich on 25 November 2005.
