CLARKE, Heather
As Heather J. Munro, she studied at Kesteven and Sleaford High School for Girls 1973-1980, then took a foundation course at Lincoln College of Art and Design 1980-1981 and awarded her B.A. (hons) in Graphic design & illustration at Norwich School of Art 1981-1984. She married at Colchester, Essex in 1984, Andrew K. Clarke and, since 1985, a free-lance illustrator, specialising in children's books, and educational publishing, her work is published by Puffin; Scholastic; Oxford and Cambridge University Presses and others. Heather is the illustration half of Suffolk-based team Clarke-Design Co. Her portfolio offers a selection of work for books, CD covers, websites and advertising from her studios at Brook Cottage, The Street, Washbrook, Ipswich.
