QUICK, Lorna

As Lorna H. C. Young, she married at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in 1960, Robert J. Quick (21 October 1931-2014) and paints as Lorna Quick. Specialising in botanical illustration, birds, and animals in watercolour but in May 2013 participated in an icon painting course led by Fr Richard Cannuli OSA, a professor of art at Villanova University (USA) at Clare Priory in Suffolk other participants included Maltese artist Marcelle Bartolo-Abela. A member of the Suffolk Art Society and exhibited from 6 Post Office Lane, Glemsford, Sudbury, Suffolk.
