DE LOTBINIERE, Angela Patrica Jane
As Angela Patricia Jane Birnie, she was born at Simla, India on 13 August 1936, daughter of Col Eugene St John Birnie (18 March 1900-31 January 1976), who was also an artist, and his wife Lady Marguerite Kathleen Courtenay (15 February 1911-21 November 2003), daughter of the 16th Earl of Devon, who married at St Paul's Church, Honiton, Devon on 22 November 1933. Angela married at Westminster, London on 7 September 1956, Michael Edmund Joly De Lotbinière (February 1932-1 March 2020), son of Lt Col Sir Edmund Joly de Lotbinière and they had three children, Christopher David, Giles Anthony, and Tessa Jane. In 2003, she was living with her husband and children at The Watermill, Bardwell, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk. An artist painting in watercolour and a member and exhibitor at Bury St Edmund's Art Society.
