CHURCHMAN, Mark

Mark Jonathan Churchman was born in the Great Yarmouth district of Norfolk in 1961, son of Kenneth James Churchman (19 January 1928-October 1986) and his wife Jean O. née Meller (1932-), who married at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in 1955. Mark is an engineer by trade and an artist specialising in watercolours of watery subjects, mostly parts of boats with deep reflections with a love of the East Anglian coast. Mark draws upon the relationship of wildlife with its environment, using patterns of light, colour, and reflections. He has exhibited at the Ferini Art Gallery in Pakefield, Lowestoft. He has his studio at 4 Mayfield Avenue, Kessingland, Lowestoft, Suffolk. Co-author of 'Painting with Watercolours' (2005).
