ADAMS, Julie
Julie Adams was born around 1962, daughter of Roger William Adams and his wife Hazel Florence (1927-1990), who married in Dublin, Ireland in 1958. In 1939, Roger's mother, Ruby Violet Adams (1889-1974) was living at Chepstow, Monmouthshire and moved to live next door to her son at 122 Rushmere Road, Ipswich where she died in 1974. Julie studied at Norwich School of Art 1979–1982, gaining a B.A. (hons) in Graphic Design. In 1966 the family were living at 124 Rushmere Road, Ipswich and were still there in 1976. Julie was a member of the Ipswich Art Club and exhibited from Shammer Cottage, Shammer Farm, North Creake, Norfolk in 1985, two pictures' 'Blackberries' and 'Fruit and Pheasants' and she completed a series of paintings used in the 'Norfolk Series' of postcards. She married in the Norwich district in 1984, Paul B. Fitt (born 1961) and lived in Norwich with her husband and two children.
