BROOKE, John
John E. Brooke was born in mid-Surrey in 1937, son of John Brooke (25 September 1906-1971), a coal carman, and his wife Margaret[e] née Corrigan (29 June 1910-2006), who married at Bromley, Kent in 1934 and in 1939 were living at 93 Horton Hill, Epsom. John married at Surrey in 1961, Mary R. T. Shipman. A member of the Ipswich Art Club who exhibited from 15 Five Acres, Holbrook, Ipswich in 1990, two pictures 'Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby' and 'Interior-Exterior'.
