PASK, Betty Ruth
Betty Ruth Pask was born at Felixstowe, Suffolk on 22 January 1908, second daughter of Edgar Richard Pask (12 July 1880-17 June 1961), a master butcher, and his wife Lottie Elizabeth née Taylor (30 November 1877-4 December 1950), who married at Cambridge in 1901 and in 1939 were living at 3 Manning Road, Felixstowe. In 1911, Betty was a 3-year-old, living at 1 Alpha Villas, Manning Road, Felixstowe with her parents, 30-year-old Edgar and 33-year-old Lottie, with Betty's sibling sister Edna 6 but by 1921 they had moved to 9 Granville Road, Felixstowe with the addition of a 6-year-old brother Thomas Richard (25 September 1916-2003) but by 1939 had returned to live at 3 Manning Road. Betty was an English teacher at Garrison Lane Grammar School, Felixstowe for many years. A Friend at the Ipswich Art Club and exhibited from Heathlands, Foxhall, Ipswich in 1979 'Ipswich Docks and Lightship' and from 18 Beatrice Avenue, Felixstowe in 1980 'Still Life' and 'Spring Flowers'. She lived at Felixstowe and died at the Ipswich & East Suffolk Hospital, Ipswich on 6 September 1995, aged 87, she was unmarried.
