SNELL, Trevor John
Trevor John Snell was born in the Blyth district of Suffolk in 1943, son of Walter William Snell (8 February 1903-29 December 1992), an auxiliary postman, and his wife Margery Jessie née Rowe (26 September 1910-1970), who married in the Blyth district in 1936, and in 1939 were living at Shonmac Cottages, Sternfield, Saxmundham, Suffolk. Trevor married at Blyth in 1966, Yvonne A. Cable (born 1946). A member of the Ipswich Art Club and exhibited from 52 Lonsdale Close, Ipswich in 1978 'Levington: Out at Sea' and the following year exhibited two further paintings and in 1980 'Hunter's, Waldringfield' and 'Stranded, Orwell' and two in 1990 'Trees' and 'The Orwell Drawings' and was still showing from the same address in 1997 'Levington out to Sea', 'Worlds Apart, New Beginnings' and 'Wild About the Orwell'.
